Syracuse in gray? Could this nightmare actually become a reality? According to the ticker in this article, Nike is working on a gray jersey to be worn sometime this season. The Syracuse nickname, as we all know, is "Orange". The color is even written out in the team's jersey! Why would we ever want to wear something OTHER than Orange? And don't even get me started on the fact that Gray is the color most associated with our heated and hated rival, the Georgetown Hoyas.

I sincerely hope this gray Syracuse jersey does not happen! Would you really want the Orange to look like this?

oh hell no

i will never, ever buy a gray jersey, shorts, nothing.

since everything in the conferences runs by how much money they make, just tell them none of us will every buy merch again if they use that color.

Since the early 1990's I have not been able to get Mike Hopkins' bloody face out of my brain. I don't remember what game it was but I'll never forget that as my first memory of SU basketball. Mike Hopkins, bloody face, bloody nose, all for the love of Syracuse.

i have a hunch...

…that similar to Va Tech’s gray jerseys (which say VPI), Syracuse’s gray jerseys will just say “CUSE” on the front in orange on a simple gray background…
