Time for some positivity!
With all the list adding we've done lately, I thought we could use a little more positivity around here and I'd start a list of college basketball analysts that support SU and defend that we are the #1 team in the nation. This is the list of people who have become part of the Ottoman empire and have the support of SU nation. Feel free to add to it.
Dick Vitale - "No one is going to beat Syracuse in the regular season" source
Luke Winn - Has consistently ranked Syracuse #1 in power rankings, includes Boeheim in his list for coaches of the year, and seemingly argues how good our lineup is every week. source
Mark Titus - Voted Syracuse #1 in his power rankings all season long source
Dana O'Neal - Yes, I'm going to include Dana on my list. She's come full circle on Syracuse and I'm willing to forgive her early season sins. She has defended that we are the best team in the nation and in her recent Big East rankings acknolwedged our bench alone may be better than any other team in the league. source
Jay Bilas - He's been ranking us #1 the last month and a half in his power rankings and called our victory over Pittsburgh "impressive". I got the feeling from the game on Monday that he was a believer. source
Joe Lunardi - Ranked us as a 1-seed since his first bracket of the year. Included us as the overall #1 seed for all but the first bracket. source
Jay Williams - Claimed Syracuse could go undefeated before anyone else. Ranked us #1 in his power rankings while many considered OSU the best team in the nation. He also upset Baylor fans by saying they didn't have National Championship potential and we did. source

Thank you for this
We are the least happy fans of the number one team in the universe. This should help.
Winn
Never really read him before this year, but I absolutely <3 his power rankings. Even if the rankings themselves suck, he always has juicy facts and never resorts to overused talking head-speak.
Jay Bilas
Has been behind SU all along. I think his opinion is the best of all, probably because he actually watches games. Bilas always says that if SU can improve in the half court, they are (by far) the team to beat. I think anyone who watches them will agree that is the biggest weakness.
Now, if he could find a way to get the other talking heads to actually watch the games (and less OTL and SportsCenter highlights), they would come to the same conclusion. Ok, probably not.
In spite of Bilas's Duke affiliation
Always liked him as a broadcaster — he’s fair, intelligent and his honest handling of the Duke lacrosse case (when his colleagues were on a witch hunt) will always put him in a positive light to me.
Like this overall list, too. Maybe if we start focusing on the positive, the other talking heads will come around.

Winn is a great b-ball writer
The power rankings are great. Other things to look out for are:
-The style archive
-His travel writing at conference and NCAA tourney time, where he covers games as well as what is going on before and after games and what its like to be out on the town.
