Sadly or not I have not one friend or family member willing, able or deserving enough to attend the Georgetown game at the Dome this year. I want to make at least one game this year with
good GREAT seats. But at $250 - $300+ a ticket this brings a dilema. That's where you come in.
I am looking for a good fan (not boring but not too crazy (spilling beer on Julie Boeheim and getting kicked out is not my idea of a good time) from the Rochester area or points east to attend the February 8th. tilt against the hated Georgetown Hoyas. As possibly the last time we host GU at the dome and as the No. 1 TITC I have to go somehow some way and with great seats.
After we mutually establish the good standing (moral and financial; perhaps by taking in a SU game at a Rochester area watering hole) of each other I'll buy tickets thought craigslist etc... I'll drive and pay for parking. You pay for your ticket and bring Orange pride.
A little about me; I was born in Syracuse (when? Summer of Love is a hint), grew up in the area, attended (not Syracuse) college. Remained a Syracuse fan through many (many) years and now live in Rochester with two young kids and a not-into-sports but otherwise wonderful woman I call my wife. I don't like long walks on the beach if SU is playing. I do like watching the sunset (on JT's career) and total eclipses (of GU big men in the paint).
OK good luck to me lets see where this goes.
