Syracuse @ Rutgers (RAC) Feb 19th SOLD OUT....

So yeah, i wasnt expecting that. I mean the great invasion from 2009 was on a weekend in January, but it wasnt sold out. None of the other SU games at the RAC have been sellouts either (I have been to all of them). I tried buying tix Friday, but their site would let me. I tried again today, and right on the top, they list it as a sellout.

Anyone else planning on attending? I am going to go the stubhub route I guess. I am thinking a HEAVY Orange crowd.

RAC

Won’t be able to attend the game at the RAC, but got my tickets to 2/4 at MSG vs. St. Johns, and the final Big East Tourny as well. Hoping this year is special!

keep me updated

My plan is to pick up a guest ticket from an undergrad and get in on the cheap.

Hopefully this is more the product of Rutgers picking up a few upsets and a few fans sensing upset potential. That may mean that a bunch of seats open up on the cheap closer to game day.

If I can’t get student guest seats, I might be looking at the stub hub route as well

Tell me about the student guest seats....

my wife has a family member who is an undergrad there now. I would love to get into the student section with an orange shirt on.

note at the bottom they say that students may purchase 1 guest pass per valid student ID for $15. undergrads only of course, If you’re a grad student they could care less.

What I’m still unclear on is whether that student also needs to accompany you through the gate, or if it is simply enough for them to buy the ticket ahead of time with the ID, or if once you have the ticket, any student ID holder could walk you through the gate. I hit up some women’s games in the past and it was no big deal so who knows.

You have to be with a student that has a RU ID to get in if you’re a guest.

Our game there in 2010 wasn't sold out?

I recall having a real hard time getting tickets. I kind of recall them making you buy tickets to other Rutgers basketball games if you were to buy a ticket to our game from them.
