Gloria Allred may have already moved on to her next case but the rest of us remember that there's a defamation lawsuit against Jim Boeheim that needs dealing with.
And Syracuse University alumnus C. James Zeszutek is the one dealing with it.
Zeszutek, a managing partner at the law firm of Dinsmore & Shohl in Pittsburgh, will be Boeheim's primary lawyer in the lawsuit filed by Bobby Davis and Mike Lang, who accused former associate men's basketball coach Bernie Fine of molesting them years ago, according to the article.
Zeszutek is the most Syracuse-y person possible for the job. He graduated from SU in 1972 where he was on the wrestling team, received a SU law degree in 1975 and a SU master's degree in public administration in 1976. He was appointed to Syracuse's department of intercollegiate athletics' athletic advisory board in 2002, sits on the athletic department's Board of Directors and was elected to the Board of Advisors at SU's College of Law in 2010.
He also has experience defending college coaches, having dealt with the Committee on Infractions against allegations involving violations of NCAA Bylaw, one time defending Syracuse University.
