My letter to the Poynter Institute

So after avidly following the coverage of the impending move to the ACC for SU and Pitt, I've grown disgusted with the World Wide Leader like many of you. I decided to do next to nothing about it. I tracked down the comment submission form for the new ESPN "Ombudsman" the Poynter Institute. Below the jump is the content of my letter.

I am troubled by the vitriol being spewn by multiple ESPN bloggers and analysts in the wake of the announcement of ACC expansion. Blame for this entire era of change is being placed on the Presidents of Pittsburgh and Syracuse Universities, while the vital role played by ESPN itself in this whole fiasco goes unmentioned. If not for the network's LHN deal with Texas, Syracuse and Pitt never go to the ACC. This two-faced, self serving BS is despicable. I hope you send them a strongly worded letter or whatever it is you do.
