2011 NLL Draft: Syracuse Participants

Tonight is the National Lacrosse League draft. Like any professional lacrosse event, it seems to swarm with former players of the Syracuse Orange. Tonight is when former college stars get their chance to find out where they will play at the pro level, from Toronto to Washington, Edmonton to Buffalo. Here are the players you could see drafted tonight, in just a little over an hour.

John Galloway: Galloway has been the Syracuse Orange goaltender, and is a member of Major League Lacrosse's Rochester Rattlers. InLaxWeTrust.com projects him as the 53rd pick in the draft to the Toronto Rock.

Stephen Keogh: Keogh is a power forward with the Hamilton Nationals and Six Nations Chiefs of the MLL and MSL, respectively. He is projected to go #2 overall to the Rochester Knighthawks tonight.

Jovan Miller: Miller did not see much time with the Rattlers this season, but is projected as a fourth rounder tonight at pick #28 to the Philadelphia Wings.

Jeremy Thompson: A hero with the Hamilton Nationals this past MLL season, Thompson is projected as the first pick of the second round to the Buffalo Bandits.

Joel White: Another Rattler, this defender is projected to go in the second round at #13 to the Colorado Mammoth.

Any draft questions ask me here, as it looks again like the Rochester Knighthawks should be the team Syracuse fans root for. I host the NLL pre Draft show tonight at 6:30 pm with several draft prospects joining me.
