Part of the reason I hate this ACC move is that my devotion to the Big East goes all the way back to the 90's when Syracuse football mattered and the Orangemen were able to give the likes of VaTech and The U a game every now and then, if only because the hate factor was so high.  I particularly hated Miami because of this punk ass kid that used to ride my bus in grade school who was a Miami fan and the very definition of front runner.

But I digress.  Now that the deal is done, I think it might be a good thing to be able to renew those old rivalries.  Both VaTech and Miami are still good programs, but not what they used to be.  With Syracuse football on the rise again (hopefully), I could look forward to those games again.  Of course, the Orange would still smack them hard in basketball, but they'll have bigger fish to fry in Duke and UNC.
