I'll be absolutely honest...I haven't really paid attention to anything outside the Syracuse sphere of influence in the past 72 hours. If it wasn't happening BECAUSE OF Syracuse or TO Syracuse, I don't really know what the heck is going on. I probably have someone ranked really high here who lost by sixty, so, call me out at will.
Oklahoma jumps to No. 1 on what is clearly the most impressive resume win of the season so far. LSU and Alabama are right there with them, though. Anyone who says one of those teams is obviously superior to the other two has no idea what they're talking about because no one knows that yet.
West Virginia and South Florida hold steady at No. 17 and No. 18. They're the only Big East teams that warrant ranking at this point.
I dropped Ohio State out after not only their loss to Miami but also the poor showing at home against Toledo, who got throttled by Boise this week.
Any major omissions? Crazy rankings? Let me know...
