So mcallj was right. I thought our running game looked night and day better. Bailey looked like he may be able to handle the load. I really liked the empahsis on running with the wishbone and the option and Hackett pushing nassib running. I think he could be much more like tebow.

I was pleasantly surprised by our front 7 most of the game. The line and linebackers looked good for their inexperience and undersized nature. I'm losing faith in the secondary though. It was clear we don't have a big time receiver that we really need for jump balls and deep threats.

I think a bowl game is definitely doable but I'm very worried about Toledo. the game overall was respectable. What I expeted marrone played straight up mostly with a few wrinkles to keep the game respectable like our 28 7 loss to Penn state a few years ago. I was getting excited when we got to 24 10 but nevertheless it was a big experience for our guys. I would like to see loeb and some of the younger receivers in garbage situations at the end of the game.
