Well, this morning, Andrea Adelson weighed in on our leaving the Big East. Now is it me, or is she being a little overly self righteous about this thing? It's business. It's not personal... and given the climate in college football, I can't say it's surprising nor would I tut-tut WVU for looking at the SEC; Rutgers has been trying to play footsie with the Big Ten for years now. So is it um, kinda bullshit for someone who has been covering the Big East for all of nine or so months and who has demonstrated repeated cluelessness (eg. ranking us twenty points behind Akron a year ago - nope, not letting it go, not now) and really isn't impressing anyone with her work on the Big East to get so goddamm holier than thou over a business decision that plenty of other conference members have been thinking about making - only SU and Pitt made first? Am I over reacting by being royally pissed?
