First, I'm not completely convinced. Rumors are always flying around. This seems to have more people excited, but I don't buy anything until it's over.
I think that the ACC is an outstanding fit. It is filled with small, private schools much like SU: BC, Duke, Wake Forest, Miami. Second they are all great institutions that will only improve syracuse's academic reputation. 3rd, I know people will be bummed about losing basketball rivalries with UConn and GTown, but you play them outta conference and imagine packing the dome for Duke, NC, and maryland.
In regards to today's game, I really hope that we see more of Jerome Smith or PTG. I appreciate bailey in space, but he doesnt seem to be getting the job done up the middle. He's getting tripped up and just doesnt have the momentum to get 3, 4 yards up the middle.
