SU vs USC - Getting to the game

LA folks (and those coming to town for the game), how are you planning to get to the Coliseum on Saturday? I've spoken with a number of people who are either riding the SU-sponsored shuttle ($25 per person) or chartering their own private bus. I was planning to use LA Metro Rail/TransitLink, as this seems both economical and avoids the hassles of parking and having to remain sober for the drive home. Anyone have any thoughts, info, or advice about taking the Metro? I used it once, to go to and from a Kings game (from NoHo), and it was great.

Also, thoughts, info, and advice on parking and tailgating would be much appreciated. From everything I've heard or read, parking seems like a hassle, but tailgating (either in the tailgating lot, on-campus, or at Exposition Park) seems to be no problem (so long as your group isn't being belligerent).
