With Hopkins as a central figure at Jim Boeheim’s Fantasy Camp last week, SUAthletics.com caught up with him to get his thoughts on the camp and to reflect on his playing days.

Syracuse University Athletics - Catching Up With SU Basketball Legends: Gerry McNamara
Arguably the most decorated player in SU basketball history, McNamara has the vision of being on the other side of another national championship.

Syracuse University Athletics - Catching Up With SU Basketball Legends: Billy Owens

Best and Worst Big East Positive Impact Factor Performances in 2010 - Big East Coast Bias
Syracuse's Ryan Nassib made the list three times. Before Syracuse fans send in their hate mail, let me explain. Nassib has what you might call a fumbling problem. On a full 14% of his career carries (which includes sacks), he fumbles the ball. In each of these three games above, Nassib lost a fumble and didn't carry the ball much which is why he got such a stiff penalty. The Orange easily won two of the three games.

Syracuse University Athletics - Dutch and Hillsman Advance to Qualifying Round

Jerami Grant Nearing Decision | ZagsBlog.com
Grant tripped to Syracuse last week and said it went well. "It was nice," he said. "I definitely liked it. I got to see everything. I talked to all the coaches and [saw] how they felt about me. They said they were really looking at me "They was just telling me how they liked me, my game, telling me about the forwards that [have] been through their school. I could be one of those productive guys that have gone through."

2011 Football preview – Week 7, West Virginia | The Juice Online
West Virginia enters 2011 as the heavy pre-season favorite to win the Big East Championship. The Mountaineers won a share of the title last year, but, following three straight 9-4 campaigns, the glory of three 11-win seasons from 2005-2007 seems a distant memory.

Almost 50,000 fans will be packed beneath the dome, with millions more watching on television, as a terrific Syracuse team takes on its nemesis. Even in a season that some might classify as a down year for the Miami Hurricanes, they remain the bandana-wearing buccaneers who have not lost to SU in 17 long years.

Syracuse - Strengths: the Orange are set at safety and on the defensive line. Chandler Jones is one of the Big East's best defensive linemen and not limited to just being a pass rusher.
