In Definitely: Injured Syracuse Football Players Return!

Stay connected for news and updates

While the Syracuse Orange did add one more name to the Out Indefinitely list, they also welcomed back a lot of players to the In Definitely list.

Starting wide receiver Alec Lemon and nose guard Cory Boatman, both who had been working with the first-team, are back.

Running back/kick returners Prince-Tyson Gulley and Steve Rene were out on the field in full pads.

Marrone said after the morning practice that junior strong safety Shamarko Thomas would likely be back on the field Tuesday, and that versatile reserve lineman Nick Lepak, a senior, should be back on the field sometime this week.

Some really fantastic news was that cornerback Keon Lyn, who injured his right shoulder on Thursday, could return by this weekend. I think a lot of us feared he was going to be out for a long time (Not Keon, however).

It's too early to tell with the offensive linemen suffering from concussions (and rightly so) but hopefully we've gotten all the injuries out of the way and can back to all this practicing at full strength business.
