Syracuse's Andrew Lewis Signs With Jacksonville Jaguars
Andrew Lewis is the latest Syracuse Orange undrafted free agent to find a home in the NFL. Lewis signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars Wednesday and will report to camp shortly with the intention of being there when the 2011 season begins.
"He had a bunch of calls,'' Stevens said. "But obviously it's about the opportunity, no matter where it is.''
Lewis made 28 tackles in 12 games for the Orange last season. He was held out of the Pinstripe Bowl, a shame for the senior who had been through so much. However it's nice to know his football career may just continue.
Lewis has been a fan favorite all season on Twitter and leaves after a career that spanned the entire Greg Robinson Era and the rebirth of Syracuse football that followed.
Go let the folks at Big Cat Country know they're getting a great player and hopefully we can meet back here later to discuss Rob Long's signing.

Bart, Hogue, Smith, Merk, Holmes, Lewis ... who am I missing?
Tribbey, Perkins and Long hopefully get to a camp soon.
That’ll give us 9 in an NFL camp. Most of these 9 are GRob recruits.
More recruiting firepower for HCDM.
Delone Carter?!?
