I still have trouble taking owership of MW as a Cuse alum.

Because, like, we all threw him under the bus when he was being all weird and leaving the team. Yet, he did help us win some games and did in fact come to our school…

Such a conundrum.

He’s like the Albert Belle of Syracuse sports.

with no offseason all these poor rooks are waaayyyyy behind the eight ball trying to impress the coaches in training camp. Normally they’d have had the last 2 1/2 months to learn the system and get their names out. At least the Bucs have a crappy LB corps that is also probably losing their starter in the middle. Best chance for DSmith maybe in the league to stick.

that at least he has a chance to play. He’s really no different than Hogue or Carter in that regard, or any other player for that matter. In the NFL it doesn’t matter how many pro-bowls you’ve made in a row, as long as you don’t have guaranteed money, you’re only one day away from being out of a job.

Hogue or Carter

will not get cut unless they majorly suck in camp. A draft pick will always be ahead of an UDFA, sometimes even when the UDFA is better. I’ll be rooting for him of course, just sad that he’s so far behind because of all this lockout mess.
