This time around, at least the Orange isn’t fighting a huge territorial disadvantage. Three-star defensive end recruit Myles Hilliard is from Bedford, Ohio, and he is reportedly making his choice today. Hilliard has previously said that Syracuse is in his top five, along with Michigan State, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, and Minnesota.

But the thing he’d most like to discuss is the thing that he’ll unveil on July 1 in Syracuse in the form of an awareness-heightening, fund-raising golf tournament at Lafayette Hills Golf & Country Club -- Team Red, White & Blue. Now in its second year of operation, Team RWB has so far sponsored some two dozen events from coast to coast, attracted roughly 2,000 participants and raised approximately $260,000.
