Yet again...another day, another Class of 2012 commitment.
Today it's Kyle Knapp, a 6-foot-5, 272-pound offensive lineman from Portage Central High School near Kalamazoo.
"One thing that really took me in was how they talked about that they’re not just developing football players, but they’re developing men. I really liked that a lot," Knapp said of his March recruiting visit to Syracuse.
Scout deems Knapp a three-star talent while Rivals hasn't gotten around to ranking him yet.
Knapp is choosing Syracuse over offers from Cincinnati, South Alabama, Florida International, Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Toledo, Western Michigan and...wait for it...Akron.
Knapp is a three-year starter for Portage Central and runs a 5.1-second 40-yard dash.
