Doug Marrone's High School Football Field is Too Short
"Herbert H. Lehman High School, with an enrollment of more than 4,000 students in the Bronx, has never played a home football game simply because its field, at 80 yards, is too short for regulation contests.
...
"Lehman’s football program has traditionally been among the city’s elite. It has sent players to a number of Division I colleges. Some of its alumni have made it to the N.F.L. One of them, Doug Marrone, is the football coach at Syracuse University."

What if they raised the field
And cantilevered the endzones over the street. Then below…. RETAIL! I mean seriously how cool would it be to have a Dicks sporting goods lease agreement paying your bills? And how coolwould it be for them to have a flagship type store with a field on the roof? Come on ppl, think out side the box! It’s NYC. They have already built parks above the street and roof top courts. Let’s do this!
P.s. This is me formally taking ownership of this idea. Anyone who wants to use it should contact me about my consulting fee or expect my lawyer to contact them.
GO ORANGE!
