According to Stanford broadcaster Tim Swartz (who has something against Mike Tirico for whatever reason), you can add the Cardinal to the OOC docket.

Of course, if not for Ala-f’ng-bama they might’ve faced off in the ’04 NCAAs. Sigh…

I don't know about that....
Doesn’t the NIT Season Tip Off use a traditional tourney format? I thought there was no guarantee any of the teams would be headed for NY until they actually won a couple of games….And there’s certainly no guarantee Stanford wins two games to get there.
