Wow, what a gutsy prediction.
The claim is that of all 11 teams to make the tourney, don't be surprised if none of them make the Final Four. The argument is essentially the Big East filled to the brim with lots of very good teams with lots of very good players, but no elite teams nor elite players.
At first, I was ready to burn this guy to the stake...but he kind of does have a point. I think there is a chance (25%) that no BE team makes the Final Four. I think several teams have the ability too (including SU) and all it takes is one of those teams getting hot at the right time to make the prediction false.
I dunno, maybe I am just looking at this from my seat watching the BE beat on each other for 10+ weeks now. I've seen Duke, Kansas, Texas, Ohio St, etc play. All of them have looked very beatable at times....I guess the real answer will present itself in 10 days.
So, what chance do you think the BE has of NOT getting any team into the Final Four, I'd say 25%.
