Rick Gets Snubbed

So Rick Jackson is not a first-team All-Big East selection. He's on the 2nd team.

But he is the No. 1 forward in the league, and will possibly win the Big East defensive player of the year award. How is this possible?

The Big East picked SIX players for the first team (let's not even discuss how dumb that is right now), and they were ALL GUARDS. How foolish is this? Could you imagine if the NBA all star team was made of all guards?

Basically, two guys on this "first team" are the 5th and 6th best guards in the conference, yet they will forever be known as 1st team selections while Rick Jackson, who is by far the best forward in the conference, will be remembered as a 2nd team selection.

This really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I just wanted the big fella to get his due. It's annoying that the conference's ridiculous format neglects the best big man of the year.
