I loved how Mike Waters finally put the numbers together...
Short answer is because that year....we got Johnny Flynn and Scoop Jardine, as well as Donte Greene and Mookie Jones (Mookie was the star who beat Jimmer's team in the NYS tourney in high school, a great success that was NOT just in his mind...) So did Jim and team make a good choice?
The line: Jim Boeheim was an idiot who passed on Jimmer from Glenns Falls NY, and didnt make an offer to him because hes just so stupid and always plays zone and would be way better if he played man and just retired and was less whiny, because my opinion that I formed in my mothers basement at age 35 is obviously more informed than a HOF coach with 50 years of experience playing and coaching basketball. STUPID BOEHEIM.
- Fredette made 45 percent of his field goal attempts. He shot 39 percent from 3-point range. He totaled 160 assists, but he committed a whopping 131 turnovers.
- Flynn made 45 percent of his field goal attempts. He shot 35 percent from 3-point range. He had 185 assists and just 95 turnovers.
Fredette's numbers are from this year; his senior season. Flynn's are from his freshman year.
He also gives Scoop a lot of credit, where its due. He didnt have a bad year at all with 205 assists and 100 turnovers, and 36 percent of his 3-point attempts.
