Mike Hopkins: I have something I think you all ought to know about.It seems that The Good Doctor doesn't think too highly of our worth. He put this team together because he thought we'd be bad enough to finish dead last, knocking attendance down to the point where he could move the team to New York City... and get rid of all of us for better personnel. 

Scoop Jardine: Even me? 

Mike Hopkins: Even you, Scoop. 

Brandon Triche: What if we DON'T finish last? 

Mike Hopkins: The Doc will REPLACE you with somebody who WILL. After this season, you'll be sent on to the D-League, or playing over in Europe somewhere. 

Rick Jackson: [Rick stands up] Well then I guess there's only one thing left to do. 

Scoop Jardine: What's that? 

Rick Jackson: Win the whole fucking thing. 

[long pause] 

Kris Joseph: [Kris stands up] Yeah.
