The general consensus seemed to be that Syracuse could move up 3-4 spots this week but that's about it. So much for general consensuses.
In the AP the Orange jump from No. 17 to No. 12 thanks to their big week (and helped by their four-game winning streak). Bruce Pascoe is our champion, sending the Orange up to No. 7 while the next-highest vote was No. 10. Hater of the week is Marcus Hunter who leaves the Orange all the way down at No. 18. Marcus has some issues with the Big East as he didn't rank St. John's at all.
As for other Big East teams, Pitt it tied for 4th, Notre Dame is 8th, Louisville is 11th, St. John's is 15th, UConn is 16th, Georgetown is 17th and Villanova is 19th. My how times change.
Over in the Coaches Poll the Orange make a huge gainer, improving from 20th to 12th. Other Big East squads include No. 5 Pitt, No. 7 Notre Dame, No. 11 Louisville, No. 15 St. John's, No. 16 UConn, No. 17 Georgetown and No. 19 Villanova.
Over in the RPI the Orange are No. 16 and KenPom has the Orange at No. 12.
