Here's everything you need to know. Those rumors have been out there for about 24 hours now and the No. 1 "media" outlet discussing them is...Bleacher Report. And the top source on Twitter is someone called "Incarcerated Bob." Meanwhile the top "news" source whom most websites are quoting has since deleted his post and his Twitter account has gone bye-bye.

I think we're gonna be okay here.

We keep hearing ESPN's going to do something. We keep hearing an announcement is coming. We keep hearing its about one game or the other. And that's the thing...

We keep hearing. Nothing actually happens. (Not that it hasn't stopped some from assuming it has. I know the "you stay classy" line is cliche at this point, but, you stay classy, Seton Hall.)

ESPN might indeed end up mentioning the rumors at some point today, they probably gained enough traction to warrant a phone call to the Athletics department. In the meantime, let's just go ahead and say the chances its all bunk is 99.9%.

I think someone with an overactive imagination put a lot of pieces of information together to paint the picture they wanted to make sense. And it almost sounded believable.

Ideally, I think I'd rather the players hadn't responded via Twitter but at least it's some kind of acknowledgment from them that the rumors made it back to them and they're pissed off by the insinuations.
