The "Over-Rated" chant (and other things I hate)

I hate the "over-rated" chant. Not dislike. Hate it. Like, if I were making a top 5 list of things I hate in college basketball, it would probably look something like this:

1. Anything associated with Georgetown

2. John Calipari and Bob Huggins

3. Tim Higgins

4. The "over-rated" chant

5. Doris Burke

I think 1,2,3,5 are all pretty self-explanatory, but I'm going to expand on 4. The "over-rated" chant is used when a non-ranked or low-ranked team upsets a highly-ranked team. Wisconsin fans chanted it in the final minutes of their win against then #1 ranked Ohio State. It's meant to taunt the opposing team, but the subtext of the chant is, "you're over-rated because our moderately good (or somewhat crappy) team just beat your team." How stupid is that? You'd think fans would want everyone in the country to think this opposing team is rated just right... but our very very good team happens to be good enough to beat them. Instead, it sends the message, your highly-ranked team is worse than everyone thinks, ergo this victory isn't as big of a deal as it seems. Stupid.

Feel free to add your own top 5 list of things you hate in college basketball. I'm sure I left out some pretty obvious ones (discussion of Syracuse's OOC schedule and not leaving the tri-state area, Roy Williams "aw shucks" routine, Dick Vitale talking about Duke, the automatic tech call for "swinging an elbow" and so on....)
