Offensive woes

While it is easy to be critical of our poor offensive showings, it occurs to me that the problem is not necessarily with the players themselves.  It just so happens that none of them are great offensive players.

Imagine this.  Down by 1 point.  15 seconds to go.  We call a timeout to discuss.

If you are a Syracuse fan... who do you want to shoot???   Well, we know that there is a 75% chance that our play will be 7 seconds of Scoop dribbling and a shot with 5 seconds on the clock... if it goes in, the other team still has time.  Frankly, not sure Syracuse has had a competent last seconds offensive scheme in many years.  Somewhere along the line that just went away.

But let's do a poll.  Who do you want taking the last shot in terms of "ability to score," "ability to pass up a poor shot if someone else is wide open because that is an even better chance to win," and the degree of clutch necessary to be entrusted with that role?

EDIT:  You decide to make a bet with a guy at the bar next to you that Syracuse will put it off and win.  The amount is the equivalent to one week's salary (or if a student, the amount that would leave you without spending $$$ for a week).  You now have something on the line.  That is what I am talking about with confidence.  You NEED a basket here.  NEED!!!!
