So According to Big East Blogger Andrea Adelson, PITT is heading to the BBVA Compass Bowl and the league only has 5 bowl eligible teams. Adelson predicts that none of the BE teams would go to the Beef o'Bradys Bowl and instead thinks that

AutoZone Liberty Bowl, Dec. 31: Cincinnati

New Era Pinstripe Bowl, Dec. 30: Rutgers

Champs Sports Bowl: Notre Dame

BBVA Compass Bowl, Jan. 7: Pitt

so sadly no quest fulfilled either way but there's always next year....
