I assume you already know the glorious history of The Syracuse City-State. She has withstood the tests of time, watched many other City-States rise and fall (Villanova...) and continues to expand her almighty reach.

With Tampa and New Orleans previously annexed in order to give us access to ACC spice trading routes, it's time that the empire connects its many tentacles. The move to the ACC will help complete this but in the meantime, our recent domination of the outpost formerly known as Raleigh, North Carolina has helped grow the empire in the right direction.
