An Actual Quote from an ESPN'er not calling for JB to lose his job:
As for Boeheim, my stance is in line with what seems to be the consensus: He should have been far more careful with his comments defending Bernie Fine and accusing Bobby Davis of pursuing this story for financial reasons. That was incredibly insensitive, and I can understand why victims of child abuse and the organizations that represent them would be so outraged. But I can also understand why Boeheim responded the way he did. He was defending a friend -- at least a friend he thought he knew. I don't think his comments were a fireable offense. And unless Boeheim knew something we're not yet aware of -- and again, let's give this thing some time -- he doesn't deserve to lose his job.
