Ann Arbor, Michigan's Erich Santifer is the #11 all time scorer in Syracuse basketball history. He was a 2-time Honorable Mention All-American, a Second and First Team All-Big East selection and a team tri-captain during his junior and senior years. Santifer's teams reached the NCAA Tournament twice (including one Sweet Sixteen appearance) and he was in the starting lineup for both the last-ever game at Manley Field House and the first-ever game at the Carrier Dome.
Still not sure if you're gonna click the 'play' button?
Consider that this 3 minute clip includes:
-A Dome Ranger cameo
-A Syracuse University Clown Mascot cameo
-Two chest-painted neck-bandanna-wearing early-80s Cuse fans cameo
-Three Santifer scores off of nasty Leo Rautins passes
-Multiple crowd shots from the Demi-Dome
-Plenty of smooth Santifer baseline moments
Still on the fence?
Consider the soundtrack: "Hydraulic Funk" by the P-Funk All-Stars featuring two of the greatest names in funk history, George Clinton and Sly Stone...along with Ann Arbor drummer Muruga Booker. Groooovy.
