Finding Billy Edelin - Searching for Billy Edelin
It's been more than six years since Billy Edelin, 28-years old and originally from Silver Spring, Maryland, inauspiciously left the Syracuse basketball team and quickly fell off the radar of fans. What he's been up to since then was really left to the imagination, as he's been almost entirely mute.

5. Syracuse (4-2). The Orange let another game against a non-AQ go down to the wire. Five of their six games have been decided by a touchdown or less. Average margin of victory for their four wins: five points.

6. Syracuse (4-2) – It wasn’t pretty, but the Orange posted a 37-34 win over Tulane to earn their fourth victory of the season. Syracuse was outgained, but won the turnover battle and outside of one 40-yard touchdown run, kept Green Wave running back Orleans Darkwa in check. The Orange has been living on the edge all year, barely beating Rhode Island and three games going into overtime. Syracuse is off this Saturday and returns to action with a date against West Virginia on Oct. 21.
Dorian Graham Is What’s Needed For Syracuse’s Stale Passing Game : Orange Fizz
"Dorian Graham has been doing better and better each week, he really has. And he’s been winning for us – and so when you have a guy who is winning, we’re going to make sure we get him the football."
Big East Winners and Losers: Week 6 - CBSSports.com
The Orange are off to a 4-2 start in the 2011 season, thanks to yet another close victory in the final minutes. Syracuse has gone to overtime in three games (2-1) and had every victory decided by seven points or fewer. After the non-victory overtime victory against Toledo, I wrote that the double overtime loss to Rutgers was some weird kind of karma. After Syracuse's 37-34 victory over Tulane on the road, I'm convinced their is voodoo at work.
What we learned in the Big East - Big East Blog - ESPN
Syracuse pass D needs help. The Orange have plenty of youth in their secondary, and have been banged up, too. But still, there should be no excuses in giving up 320 yards to Tulane and quarterback Ryan Griffin. Consider that was his first 300-yard game of the season, and he threw for just 74 yards last week against Army. Syracuse has given up four 300-yard games in its six contests so far, and nearly gave up 300 last week to Rutgers (297). The Orange are going to have to make adjustments in the bye as they get ready for West Virginia in a Friday night game Oct. 21.
Big East bowl projections - Big East Blog - ESPN
Syracuse. The Orange will be bowl-eligible and will get into a bowl somewhere. But with Notre Dame taking a spot, there is no tie-in remaining.

Besides Wegmans and your family, what else do you miss about Syracuse? The Carrier Dome. I love going to Syracuse Basketball games. Football too, though I’ve already been to three games this year. Everyone in my family is a huge fan. Go Orange!
