So I admit I'm a little worked up over this, but I hate being lied to and then silenced.

The Pinstripe Bowl's facebook page posted a photo of the Empire State building lit up in Syracuse and Kansas State colors. I didn't notice at first, but someone else pointed out that the photo looked doctored. The more I looked at it, the more I thought he was right.

After some posts on the comment thread (civilized) they deleted my comment. Pffft!

Then I decided to search the internet, and found this photo of the ESB lit up for the subway series. Anyway, you be the judge.

As a very amateur photographer, it just annoys me that they can't pay or offer some Pinstripe tickets for rights to some freakin' photos. Seriously? I went to the volunteer orientation, and they mentioned that they envision it becoming a BCS bowl. Good luck with that if you can't even send someone on staff to take a free picture of a building.

Disclaimer: it is possible someone else posted this photo, and they just picked it up thinking it was real (doubtful though).
