CB Dante Hughes was released, leaving the Chargers with just four cornerbacks. Should injury strike at the position, SS Steve Gregory could slide over and play corner. Paul Oliver or rookie Darrell Stuckey -- who has been inactive so far this season -- would take Gregory's spot under those circumstances.
