New Syracuse Football Jersey Sneak Peak - White Jersey

PrintThe new Syracuse uniform cracked this morning with the unveiling of the blue jersey. The dam is getting ready to burst and now we get a first-look at the white jerseys...
Pretty much what we expected, though it doesn't help in the cause to differentiate these uniforms from the Illinois ones.
My only issue...the number. I know why they went with blue coloring and orange around the edge but I still would rather see orange numbers. It's that whole thing about us being the Syracuse Orange and all...just kinda makes more sense to me.
So there you go. We still need to see the rest of the get-up but you've got a pretty decent idea of what Syracuse football will look like this season. What say you?

I’m all for a new number… ANY new number. I just bought a new #44 last year. It will be easier to justify buying ANOTHER new jersey this soon if it’s at least a new number. In hindsight, I should have bought the Paulus #2 last year.

with hoops back in the mid-late 90’s damn near identical uni’s. Even the letter style was the same
The color accent on the back of the neck is completely different!
And their blue piping by the sleeve curves in, while ours curves out. Not to mention, their orange school initial is on a blue background, while ours is on white. So, I dunno what you’re talking about “almost identical.” That’s preposterous! Oh, and that is to say nothing of the Rose Bowl patch I’m sure they continue to wear in honor of that one time that they finished second in the Big10…but got to go to the Rose Bowl anyway.

We’re still Syracuse. I like the whites. If anything, the blue numbers reminds me of pre-Nike Hyper Elite when there was no silver. And that’s good. Real good.

I like ’em – I was never a big fan of the “shadowing” on the numbers, I like the regular outline and the blue numbers are great.
Why is our basketball team so at the mercy of Nike and the football team seems to have more choice – that a specific deal the University has with Nike? Hopefully our basketball jerseys will change again this year – I mean really, does ANYONE like the duct tape?

Her dress and his duct tape suit just don’t compliment each other at all – that’s the real problem.
But for real, I can’t STAND the duct tape on the basketball uniforms. Looks so frigging stupid.

For the record, the new basketball jerseys with the stencil on the back....
that they wore in the last half of the season doesn’t have the duct tape anymore. I have one.

i know the blue is a bit more on the purple side but they are basically the same…minus the piping(which i prefer)
