No road/white jersey on there yet.
I hope these are the main home jerseys. I think orange primary jerseys for a team called the Orange is a concept that's long overdue, and an idea that shouldn't be damned by previous orange jersey efforts. I'm also very pleased that there are common elements with the basketball jerseys. It always bugged me that the football team and basketball team never looked like they represented the same school.
I also hope this design sticks for longer than three years. The Syracuse logo/uniform situation across all sports has been a confusing disaster for decades it seems, but the most recent rebranding and hopefully this step will finally tie everything together.

But don’t agree about the home jerseys being orange – I love the blue/orange look. Just a personal preference!

I grew up with the blue jerseys.
Orange just looks wrong, especially on top of orange pants.

I just hate the unnecessary shoulder piping that everyone is doing these days. Everyone is going to the pipe too much.

I could really like an Orange jersey if the helmet was white with the Orange “S” and white pants.
Assuming still a blue jersey, this still is much cleaner and classier look.

i thought the doctor said that we were going back to more 90s style uniforms. this jersey looks so basic and plain it doesn’t really appeal to me. it looks like the kind of jersey that a low budget high school team might wear honestly. if we wear this jersey once a year than maybe its ok, i’m not a fan tho
The 90’s version was also very basic and plain, but clean and classic too. In fact, a blue version of this jersey with orange piping is not far off from it.

I just dont like changing colors. Change configurations all day, but keep some tradition. My high school was red and gray with some white for trim if we used it. It was a lot like ohio state. Now everything is red and black. 1) we look like we copied our rivals. 2) they dont looks as good in person. 3) when you try to dress like a tough guy – and get your ass kicked – its doubly embarrising. Imagine dressing up like a biker. Studded leathers, boots, biker jacket, ride in on a harley, the works and show up to your local watering hole. A fight starts and you are on the ground getting your ass kicked. Its much more embarassing than if you wore your normal polo shirt, plad shorts and sperry’s

i hate throwing black into everything or making all the other colors darker in the interest of some silly idea about looking intimidating.

This comes out 2 days after NCAA 11 does. Time to beg EA to patch the new jerseys into the game to no avail! :P
I like that these are clean looking, though, and I think the whole product should look pretty sharp. Looking forward to seeing the navys and whites.

these are the fan jerseys – which look fine with blue jeans but not orange pants (ie my orange parachute pants). Then the game jerseys are blue with the piping and details in orange. This then being our “alternate” jerseys.

but I’m betting the orange one is an alternate. I really doubt we’re switching to an orange jersey full time.
The McNabb Era Uniforms
Were clearly the best uniforms the school has ever had. Ever since the DOCTOR changed them, it’s been one big hot mess after another.
Orange helmet, blue jerseys, orange pants. It’s not that hard people.
There was never a need to change
the 1990s uniforms aren’t that different from the 1980s.
