Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Jonny, Andy and Wes From Paris With Love

Just got this email from MSG.  Andy and the Knicks will be playing Jonny, Wes and the Timberwolves this summer in Paris France.  I took the liberty of modifying the text.

Dear Ryan Syracuse Fan,

The New York Knicks are thrilled to present you the mildly unforgettable opportunity to travel overseas with your New York Knicks as they compete in NBA Europe Live 2010 presented by EA SPORTS! (its in the game) Be there to catch the Knicks debut of Amar'e Stoudemire Andy Rautins in luxurious Milan, where Andy will showcase his trendy hair styles to the Italian fashion community, and enchanting Paris, France. Cheer on your some really rich guy's new 2010-11 Knicks team as they challenge Armani Jeans (seriously the team name is Armani Jeans!) Milano, Italy's most successful basketball franchise clothing line and former team of Danilo Gallinari and Coach Mike D'Antoni. Following this exciting game, jet off to one of the world's most charming cities, Paris, France, to witness your team compete against Jonny Flynn, rookie sensation Wes Johnson and rest of the (poorly managed) Minnesota Timberwolves Orangemen at the stunning likely disappointing and surely empty Palais Omnisports Arena. During your entire European adventure, you'll be pampered by our elite hospitality program (eastern european whores) where you will relax at five-star accommodations (on a scale of one to 100), indulge in world-class dining (sponsored by Arbys), experience exclusive tours (locker room showers please!!!) and receive unparalleled team access (ANDY!). Comfort, convenience, and a commitment to world-class service are our highest priorities for you, our most loyal and passionate well-to-do Knicks fan, as you travel abroad with our team... All for around 8K per person!

Packages for this extraordinary journey are limited (except no one is buying them so not really), so don't miss out on your opportunity to experience this adventure with the New York Knicks. Begin your journey today by clicking here to access all trip information. Once you are ready to book your adventure, visit http://www.sportstravel.com/nba/new-york-knicks.php or reach out to our Knicks representatives at 212-465-6073. We hope that you will join us for what is sure to be an unforgettable trip. See you in Milan!

Poorly run Minnesota?

You could blow up the entire East Coast and the Midwest wouldn’t give a fuck.

I'll give credit to the voters of MN

At least they elected Franken, if only by a miniscule margin. They still have some ’splaining to do about Michelle Bachman, though.

Quite simple

The state is mostly Democratic…..except for the suburbs of the Twin Cities, which is where Michelle Bachmann is from.
