Sporting News: College Football Top 100 Programs

I was leafing through the internet this morning and stumbled across the Sporting News College Football Top 100...  there a few shocking rankings.  The main article which drew me to the list was Michigan coming in at #71!  I thought, "Wow, I wonder how close to Michigan is our beloved alma mater?".  Turns out, not very close...

Syracuse is #99 out of their Top 100.  Who could be worse (in their meek opinion) you ask?  None other than perennial WAC power New Mexico State.

What does this tell us?  Other than the Sporting News having some Orange-hate issues at work, editors denied admission as dim witted high school seniors, is that the other two FBS New York teams are ranked higher - #95 Buffalo and #79 Army.  ARMY!  The team I am lobbying for membership in the Big East!  The best college football team in New York State...  apparently.

The final insult to all things Orange is that Rutgers is ranked #44.

The list...  if you can stomach it.
