Hey gang - after seeing the impressive collections of memorabilia (and the even more impressive man cave temples of Syracuse sports), I realize I have no chance to win. However, I did want to share a few cool things I have in my house and have collected over the years. Nothing is signed, nothing is all that rare, but some stuff is old and therefore maybe some of you haven't seen it. I hope you enjoy my own little SU collection (and note that none of my various t-shirts, jerseys, etc., are included - I'm sure you all have that kind of stuff).
Most of that stuff you see above is my own humble man cave dedicated to the Orange, including a commemorative cup from the 1000th game back in 1991 (the Orange has faded to a lackluster yellowish color). Also, the mobile in my son's room - yes, I am brainwashing him with Otto's cuteness. Don't neglect to notice the Tully's coasters that I "liberated" from Tully's a few years back.
Here are some pins (from the 1961 Liberty Bowl and the 1988 Sugar Bowl, as well as a "Save SU Wrestling" pin from my days on the hill). Also, ticket stubs. My first game (a win against ECU in 1988), and the first time I saw Syracuse get whooped (the 1990 kickoff classic against USC at Giants Stadium). Also, the ticket stub from my 1997 student ticket pass (from my senior year). I went to all the games, of course (which was a lot more fun then because they were actually good).
