Orange::44: The Orange::44 Podcast Episode 1
Brian and John start off this podcast with some great topics including the Orange::44 Law Dogs discussing the entire Delone Carter case as it stands now. Then they move into the hot topic of the month, which is of course conference expansion (along with a huge longshot solution). Then they end with some SU Lacrosse and NCAA Tourney Talk.

Twitter / Jonathan Givony: Syracuse's Wesley Johnson ...
Syracuse's Wesley Johnson has signed with Rob Pelinka of The Landmark Sports Agency.

Daily Orange - Hack reflects on personal memories with athletes, coaches while covering Syracuse athletics
And yet, gentlemen like Jim Boeheim, Doug Marrone and John Desko never treated me like I was insignificant. They gave me the time of day when they didn’t have to. Boeheim, whose reputation with the media is dicey at best, returned my telephone call every time I wanted to speak with him. He didn’t always want to talk to me, but he called and answered my silly questions.

Syracuse spring wrap - Big East Blog - ESPN
Ryan Nassib entered the spring as the presumed starter after serving as Greg Paulus' apprentice last season. But Charley Loeb pushed him in practice and had a strong spring game. While Nassib probably holds the edge, Loeb or incoming freshman Jonny Miller could make things interesting in fall camp.

Three Idiots on Sports: Happy Totally Chipotle Day!
Today is May 5th - and you know what that means. No, I'm not talking about Cinco de Mayo, I'm talking about Totally Chipotle Day.

Orange::44: Lacrosse Weekly - 5/4/10
Notre Dame had only lost but a few games in South Bend over the last few years and in their new stadium that was over capacity with the Irish faithful. A good run and a great goalie was still not enough for ND however. Syracuse wins again 12 to six.

Syracuse | The 12 Year Itch: 13 Programs Struggling After Long Tenured Coach Leave | Bleacher Report
It’s been a dreadful six years for SU. Paul Pasqualoni ended his 14-year stint as the Orange’s second-winningest coach with a 107-59-1 record (.644 winning percentage). He guided SU to four Big East titles, nine bowl games and only one losing season. After his controversial firing in 2004, the Orange have complied a .237 winning percentage under two coaches.

The Newhouse resume tapes have landed on YouTube.  I'm going with Landon Stolar's, mostly because it's so sports-focused.  That is despite the fact that he lives in East Brunswick, NJ, which is a terrible place and inferier to Old Bridge, NJ in every single way (especially high school football, basketball and lacrosse).

Next time you say another town is inferior to yours, use a spell check before posting.

Allred threatens fellow ambulance chaser with libel/defamation lawsuit...
One of the key contests in Syracuse's march to the national championship in 1959 was a titanic clash with unbeaten Penn State on Nov. 7, 1959 in University Park, PA. The Nittany Lions were ranked No. 7 and the Orangemen No. 4.

The 20-18 victory propelled Syracuse to the No. 1 in both the AP and UPI polls which they held for the remainder of the season to claim the consensus National Championship. This is the Universal Newsreel account of that contest.
