The Ro*Tel Big-Ten-O'Meter - April 21
The Ro*Tel Big-Ten-O'Meter has been updated. BEHOLD!
With the news that the "accelerated timeline" of Big Ten expansion was more like "not accelerated at all," the O'Meter pulled back slightly on SU's chances of going Midwest. JoePa remains in a sense of slight bemusement, which is probably just as well.

Hm. Well then.
Still doesn’t really change anything, as it’s all happening sooner or later. You could say this gives the Big East time to spring into action and cement themselves, but that won’t happen.
the waiting game
The Big East should file a civil lawsuit against the Big Ten for taking too long to make a decision. Their lack of action is causing mental anguish for Big East coaches and fans… or something.
Orange you glad it's not football season?
Interesting.
So you’re saying the Big East should file a lawsuit that would accelerate the dismemberment of the conference? I’m sure Marinatto already has his lawyers drafting the complaint!
I can come up with some legal theories that do work.
But why should I have to tell them what to do? They can pay me.
Dr. Gross should give the Big 10 and ACC an ultimatum
First team that claims Syracuse, gets em. Better to be the first one out than the last one left.
The shit is going to hit the fan sooner or later and replacing Pitt, Rutgers, UConn, and WVU with UCF, Memphis, ECU, and maybe someday a Nova football team is just not going to cut it. The Big East would deservedly become a mid-major for football and lose it’s BCS berth. Cuse football deserves better.
My fear
is that the Big Ten picks teams other than Syracuse and the ACC doesn’t feel a need to expand. The Pac-10 and Big-XII do their things and Syracuse is left holding the bag and it slides into collegiate football obscurity.
