"I think Virginia has become a fan-favorite game but when you look at Hopkins-Syracuse you look at the history of it and just how many times these teams have met, the kind of games they’ve played in, the championship-caliber games they’ve played in, you know, Syracuse getting its first championship against Hopkins. You see a lot of that, the race for most national championships with Hopkins. I think it’s just a lot of history that goes into this rivalry.

(of course the question remains of what Georgetown is the equivalent of in lacrosse…..)
