Channel 9 on AOs injury
News 9 reported that AO injured his quad tendon, which I guess isn't serious and he should be "available" for the NCAA tournament. Although, it is the same injury he had over the off season.
Even if he's "available" to play in that first weekend, could we survive playing a crappy team in the first round then an underachieving major conference school in the second round playing mostly Jackson with a splash of Riley? Assuming that rest will make the injury heal quicker, at the very least I don't think he should play in the first round and leave it up to Riley should Jackson get in foul trouble.

Agreed
If we can’t win a first round game without AO, then we’re not going very far anyway.

Meh, it depends.
I’m not sure I want a guy going into the Sweet 16 without playing a game in two weeks. I’d try to play him for five minutes in one of the two games, and let Deshonte and Jackson take care of the rest.
Other people look, Andy Rautins can SEE.
this is good...
but i still wanna see those MRI results…
Other guys will step up
Even if he can play, I’d want AO to take it easy. Get another guy some minutes in the first game and then the 2nd. Dont sit AO the whole tie, but keep him limited. That way if we need him, he isnt ice cold and if we don’t we still have another guy whos gotten a good taste of the NCAAs. We have tons of guys ready to step up. This is what the NCAA is made of too.
We’re in great shape.
