Stop talking about Nova.

I'm sick and tired of all this looking ahead to the Nova game. I've noticed this after watching Nova-Georgetown. Nova is probably looking ahead to us and Georgetown is destroying them. We have FIVE GAMES between now and Nova (INCLUDING a visit to our arch-nemesis Georgetown and a visit from Calhoun). The only thing we should be talking about right now is Cincinnati. If we get caught looking ahead we lose those games and will probably carry the frustration into Nova. Let's not make the same mistake Nova does. Shut up about Nova and Shut it down on Cincy.

The point

is that EVERYONE this week hyped up the attendance record and Nova. More than a quarter of the conference schedule is still before that game. I can see the team losing focus looking ahead to Nova.

They’re still kids. Going to be hard to concentrate with the whole bombardment of Media for a game that is 5 games away. I agree with the post. Talking about Nova is a little ridiculous at this point.

It is tough

For those of us who live here, it is tough not to think about NOVA. Could be the biggest game in the dome in a LONG time. You are right, for it to live up to the hype both teams need to keep their eye on the ball and take care of business between now and then.

It's true,

And from the looks of it, I’m really afraid of going to Georgetown. Georgetown playing away looks like a different team than Georgetown playing at home.
