Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

Georgetown

is destroying Nova right now.

Star-divide

As much as I would like Gtown to lose all of the rest of their games at least when they win they help out the Cuse. So we got that going for us.  With an SU win teams will be tied tomorrow and hop them in the polls. Also Cuse can lock up a Big East double bye pretty soon. Let's bank these wins early and hope there's no letdown tomorrow.

Whoops

Look like a I jinxed this. Gtown has watched a 21 point lead go down to 10 in about 3 minutes. And Wright just fouled out.

Oh man if Gtown blows this…HAHAHAHAHA.

How is the Verizon center open, let alone fairly full?

There are so many more GTown fans at this game – while is DC pretty snowed in – compared to the USF game the other night. How does this make sense? I live here and there is no way I could go anywhere (I am also not that close to a metro stop). I do not envy those people – it will suck for them to get home.

Note that the Wizards game tonight is already postponed. The Hawks couldn’t get to DC.

Also, Nova sucks at defense apparently. You have to really try to give up 103 points to the methodical Princeton Hoyas.

The Wizards, I believe, are also still stuck in Orlando.

The underground stations are still open on Metro, so people living inside the District, and even in Arlington, can get around okay.

Even still, I’m impressed that there was a good showing of G’town fans at the game given that they don’t always show up on regular days when the city hasn’t been buried in 30" of snow.

Nova

loses and gives up 103 points. I did some research and couldn’t find one national champion that has ever given up 100 points in a game during that season.

So if you pick Nova to win the whole thing you’re going against history. Good luck to you.

Georgetown

seems to be a Jekyll and Hyde type team. That kind of inconsistency will get you bounced in the 1st round of the NCAA tournament when you play your way to a 3 or 4 seed down the stretch.

It looks to me

like they’re a totally different at home than on the road. Let’s hope we don’t give them a 14 point handicap this time.
