Why does this make me mad?

SU has had an awesome season so far, and I really want to punch Seth in the face after reading this. I was at last Tuesday's game with my Dad and we got talking about how much fun this year has been so far, and then I see this and part of me starts screaming "They never give SU any credit." I really wish that sports didn't make me crazy, but I guess that is part of the fun.

An analyst makes a reasonable assesment about a game Syracuse is in that Orange fans don’t like…Let’s throw Seth Davis in with Gottlieb as yet another Syracuse hater and Syracuse fans can embarrass themselves endlessly with a new commentator obsession!!

We as fans are having a season better than any of us could have dreamed, and for a second I lost my mind after reading this.

you have to look at

how many times has he picked Cuse to win and been right? I mean, analysts have to pick upsets sometime, and Davis is usually pretty good at picking his spots for when he feels like there might be a chance for an upset. To be honest, I don’t disagree with him all that much. Watching this team is a blast and you’re right, this season has been great so far, but I feel it may be getting to the point where the pressure is starting to build up more and more on this team. This month will be the true test of whether or not they can handle that pressure. Personally, I think they can, but there’s a legitimate other side to the debate as well, and its not like Cincinnati is some slouch…they’re at least decent.

Lest we forget...

…how much most of these “experts” are on our nuts this year. Wes Johnson is on seemingly every All-American list. We’re a 1-seed in every single bracket projection. I haven’t seen any places which think we shouldn’t be ranked at least 3rd in the nation, if not 2nd. In fact, the only person I’ve seen who doesn’t think we’ll make the Final Four is Pat Forde, and he thinks Rutgers-Seton Hall is the epic rivalry of the year, so he doesn’t have any credibility.
