Despite program-record start, Boeheim keeps Orange humble - Sports
"It feels good, especially with the fact that coming into this season we weren't supposed to be good as we are, according to a couple reporters," sophomore forward Kris Joseph said. "I don't blame them because we did lose three of our best players, but it just feels so good to know that our hard work in the offseason is paying off right now."

The Orange, having lost Paul Harris, Eric Devendorf and Jonny Flynn, were picked sixth in the Big East preseason poll. Then Syracuse crushed North Carolina 87-71 in the Garden to go to 4-0 and the college basketball world began gushing Orange. "I didn't have a clue we'd be this good," said Boeheim.
If we wanted to stop the bad behavior in the stands, we could. But we're not interested. |
Apparently, the louts in the basketball stands at West Virginia have crossed so far over the crassness line that they’ve been asked by school officials, via e-mail, to clean up their profane act.

NCC news
putting up some clips of NCC news on youtube?
hilarity is going to ensue. I remember doing those and it was a complete trainwreck a lot of the time. Good times. Good times.
haha
I was on my first NCC “newscast” last Friday and was awful. My first time ever on a camera (I’m a grad student in the Journalism department.) and was nervous as hell.
I hope nobody posts that shit or I’ll be the next Boom goes the dynamite guy. Well, I wasn’t that bad and I didn’t have a sweet catch phrase, so maybe not.
Hey, if your gonna put them on YouTube
I’m going to find it.

watching that video
brings back uncomfortable memories from my time in the bj department… i liked everything about the program EXCEPT the awful, awful live shot stuff. shudder
I remember doing live shots like that when I was a student
oh wait that was last semester.
Humble
Whenever I hear or see the word humble, all I can think of is how the Iron Sheik likes to make men humble. I listen to far too much Howard Stern….
There must be a mediocre Big Ten game at the same time
