Who wants my shirt?
I barely won a shirt in the contest last night. I cannot go to the game and have no real intent on wearing a shirt that falsely suggests I was at an event that I did not attend. SO... I will hold my own contest...to the first person who can: (a) confirm that they will be attending the game; (b) confirm that they do not have one of these shirts already; and (c) guess who my all-time favorite Syracuse player is.
If someone gets it right, I will provide your address and size instead of mine. Need to resolve this today though.
A good post will be "Yes, No, Player."
Here is your one hint: This guy played in the Dome. We are not talking someone from the Manley Field House era.

P.S. Janulis would not have been my guess if I was really trying
I picked him because my HS team played against him a couple times. Good ol’ Section V small schools…
Syracuse players have a lot of length.
he played at Prattsburg
their coach must’ve had some sort of shady deal worked out with Lithuania, because he got 3 consecutive Lithuanian exchange students who went on to play D1 basketball. Another was a kid who played for Seton Hall (Kaukenas).
Syracuse players have a lot of length.
I'd love the shirt
But I live in Tampa and cannot attend. So, i’m out of running. Unless you have sympathy for me and let me in on the contest. I’ll go with No, No and Lucious Jackson

Yes, No, Carmelo Anthony
Yeah, I’m a current SU freshman camping out for the game.
Traveling from Delaware for the game
a) Not sure how I can prove to you that I am going to the game. My cousin has 2 season season tix and I asked him two months ago to take me to the game with him. I went to FM (local knowledge) and when I was growing up I wore knee high sox on game day because my favorite player was Lawrence Moten. I would only wash the sox after a loss! Dosn’t prove I am going to the game, but I am…
b) I don’t have a tshirt for the game yet, but will go to Manny’s on Friday night after I get into town if need be. Again, not sure how I prove this to you.
c) I will guess that your favorite all time player is John Wallace.
No, No, Siekaly
Sorry, just felt like guessing the favorite player. I’m in Cali, so there’s no way I can make the game.
Without Gerry McNamara we wouldn't have won 10 f-- games, not 10
So far... nobody is right.
I don’t need an affidavit that you are attending the game. I just need your word.
Because everyone has been wrong, let me provide Hint #2:
Played for Syracuse AND in the NBA.
People who have answered may guess again. My rules.
No, No, Rob McClanahan

I mean Yes, No, Jason Hart
I’m an idiot. Misread the OP, i don’t have a shirt, was saying “Yes – I don’t have a shirt”.
Argh
Forgot the Jersey not being retired…

Yes, No, Stephen Thompson
How many guesses do we get?
WINNER!!!!
We have a winner… SU Fan NC!!!
#12, Rafael Addison.
But for a Wes-esque injury late in his senior year (not too hurt to sit, too hurt to be fully effective), would have crushed Bing’s scoring record. Missed by 5 points.
Also, played before the 3-pt. shot. Too bad.
Right now 10th in scoring, 22nd in rebounding, and 17th in assists. see orangehoops.org
This correct guess amazes me

Wow
not one guess of Sherman Douglass. I figured someone would’ve guessed him. Must be the forgotten Cuse PG.
BTW, wow what a history of PG coming through Syracuse in the last 30 years.
Without Gerry McNamara we wouldn't have won 10 f-- games, not 10
Oops
never mind, I guess someone did guess him. I just breezed over the comments.
